Num 30:2, Judg 11:36, Jer 44:25 | ESV | STEP | If a man vows a vow to the Lord , or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge , he shall not break his word . He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth .

Numbers 30:2

2 ^aIf a man vows a vow to the Lord, or ^bswears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. ^cHe shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

Judges 11:36

36 And she said to him, “My father, you have opened your mouth to the Lord; do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth, now that the Lord has avenged you on your enemies, on the Ammonites.”

Jeremiah 44:25

25 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ^dYou and your wives have declared with your mouths, and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying, ‘We will surely perform our vows that we have made, ^eto make offerings to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her.’ Then confirm your vows and perform your vows!
